Join us for 7 days in the gorgeous natural world on the Nicaraguan Pacific coast.

Throughout the week we’ll dive into deep connection with self, using meditation, breathwork, movement, journaling, and guided embodiment practices in a supportive community. As the week progresses we’ll explore different ways to express ourselves through voice and song, body through movement, and your own inner creativity.

This retreat will ignite your inner truth and support you in sharing that truth with the world.

    Embody

    The week will begin with practices that connect you to your true self; invitations to drop into the body through yoga, meditation, and movement. You'll get in touch with ways you're subconsciously suppressing your own authenticity, including emotions that society has taught all of us not to express. This deep work is supported through Tantric embodiment practices where all parts of yourself are not only allowed, but welcomed.

    Illuminate

    Moving through the week there will be opportunities to open up more and more, slowly adding in practices that encourageauthentic voice to shine through. We’ll explore creating boundaries for yourself so that your voice is connected to your needs and wants and does not cater to others.

    Play

    Throughout it all there will be down time for playfulness and integration either alone or within community.

    The week will culminate with opportunities to share your true self by igniting your creativity in movement and self expression. There will be dance. There will be howling at the full moon. There will be singing. There will be awakening and connection to your inner radiance!

Self connection and exploration - see all the parts of you: the higher selves, confident selves, doubtful selves, grieving selves, spiritual selves. We’ll learn how to accept, embrace, and love the wholeness of you.

We should probably mention the three delicious meals daily, made from scratch using local ingredients.

Where you’ll stay

    Shared room

    Price $2,100

    A comfortable double room in one of the remaining cabins. This option is only available if you are two individuals prepared to room together. All rooms face the ocean or our private pool, with screened doors and windows to let in the ocean breeze.

    Live closely with our community but escape to your own private lodging at the end of the day. All rooms face the ocean or our private pool, with screened doors and windows to let in the ocean breeze.

FAQs

  • Available airports: Managua MGA (Nicaragua), Liberia LIR (Costa Rica), and San José SJO (Costa Rica)

    Flying to Managua, Nicaragua:

    Flying into Managua is the easiest option once you are on the ground with just a 2-2.5 hour drive through the beautiful Nicaraguan countryside directly to Costa Dulce.

    Flying to Liberia, Costa Rica and entering Nicaragua via the land border:

    Costa Rica has dropped all COVID related travel requirements, you just need proof of onward travel like your return flight or bus ticket. The flights to Liberia typically have better prices and more options and the airport is also only about 3 hours travel time to Costa Dulce including the border crossing. Crossing the land border is done on foot, but the Costa Dulce team can help you arrange a driver from the airport, and another one that will meet you at the border and bring you all the way to the retreat center.

    Flying to San Jose, Costa Rica:

    San Jose is often the best option when coming from Europe as there are more direct flight options then Liberia or Managua. The trip from San Jose is about 6 hours total so it only makes sense to if you are going to save significant time or money on your flight.

  • As of July 2023, Nicaragua has no covid related entry requirements.

    There is a $10 taxation fee you’ll have to pay in cash at your point of border entry. USD or Nicaraguan Cordoba.

  • Highspeed WiFi is available on site and it’s free. As the entire retreat center is powered by solar panels there are very rarely any power cuts.

    Cell service works in some areas of the retreat center if your provider partners with TIGO. Also check with your provider about any international plans.

  • Transportation is not included but the retreat center has a team of drivers that run regular shuttles to and from the airports.

  • We recommend bringing the following:

    Natural sunscreen or sun protection

    Natural bug repellent for the evenings

    Refillable water bottle

    Hiking shoes or sandals

    Camera or smartphone

    Flip flops and swimwear of course

    Small flashlight or headlamp with extra batteries or smartphone

    You can bring your own Yoga Mat if you like, but they do provide high-quality mats, straps, blocks, and other props.

    A journal or notebook.

    A hat.

    Personal pharmaceuticals: Any allergy or anti-itch cream if you wish and any prescription medication that you need

    Health care items and/or feminine products (the retreat is off the beaten path, bring these even if you don’t think you’ll need them).

    Earplugs (in case you have trouble adjusting to the sounds of the waves and monkeys)

    Eyemask (if you are in a shared room)

    Passport (you need a valid passport for at least 6 months before the expiration date to enter Nicaragua. No special visa is required.)

  • No. The USD is readily accepted in most parts of Nicaragua. Costa Dulce and most other establishments in the area accept dollars but will give you change back in the local currency.

  • Yes, there is a bar near the second pool that offers alcoholic beverages as well as coffee and cacao beverages for purchase.
