Payment Plan and Cancellation Policy
Non-Refundable Deposit:
A $300 deposit is required to secure your spot in the retreat. This deposit is non-refundable and counts as a portion of your total fee.
Payment Schedule:
By securing your $300 deposit before October 15th, you lock in the Early Bird Rate.
The first payment (50% of your total fee, depending on your housing choice) is due on November 15th.
The final payment (the remaining balance) is due on January 15th.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancel before January 15th: Receive a full refund minus the $300 deposit.
Cancel before March 1st: Receive a 50% refund of your accommodation fee minus the $300 deposit.
Cancellations after March 1st, 2025: Not eligible for a refund.
Acknowledgment of Risks, Release of Liability, and Assumption of Risk:
I, the undersigned participant, hereby acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in the "My Radiant Song": Yoga and Embodiment Retreat to Awaken Authentic Voice organized by Ashley Hunter/Far Out of the Box (referred to as "Organizer"), taking place in Nicaragua from 3/14/25 to 3/22/25. I understand and accept that the retreat will involve a variety of activities, each carrying inherent risks, including but not limited to yoga, meditation, workshops, outdoor activities, and ocean-related experiences. The full schedule of activities will be provided prior to the retreat.
Assumption of Risks:
I am aware that the retreat involves physical and mindful activities, including but not limited to yoga sessions, meditation, workshops, cacao circles, sweat lodge, ecstatic dance, jungle walks, and other related activities, each with its own set of risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to, physical injuries, mental and emotional challenges, exposure to natural elements, travel-related risks, and other unforeseen circumstances.
Additionally, as the retreat takes place on a beach, I acknowledge the specific risks associated with ocean activities, including currents, waves, and other potential hazards.
Release of Liability:
In consideration of being allowed to participate in the "My Radiant Song" retreat, I hereby release and discharge Ashley Hunter/Far Out of the Box, the Organizer, instructors, guides, staff, volunteers, and any affiliated entities or individuals from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever, whether arising out of negligence or any other cause, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, or wrongful death.
This release of liability encompasses any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of the retreat organizers, instructors, guides, or other participants during the entire duration of the retreat.
Yoga Instruction Waiver of Rights:
I specifically acknowledge that yoga and related activities may involve physical and mental exertion and carry inherent risks. I hereby explicitly waive any and all rights, claims, or causes of action against Ashley Hunter/Far Out of the Box, the Organizer, instructors, and any affiliated entities or individuals arising out of or related to my participation in yoga and related activities during the retreat.
Physical Risks: Yoga activities may involve physical movements and postures that carry a risk of injury. I voluntarily participate in these activities with full knowledge and acceptance of the potential physical risks.
Health and Well-being: I am responsible for my own physical condition and well-being during yoga sessions. I will follow the safety precautions and instructions provided by the instructors but ultimately take full responsibility for my choices.
Medical Consultation: While the instructors may provide guidance, I acknowledge that they are not licensed medical providers. I must consult my doctor regarding any health concerns or conditions and understand that yoga is not a substitute for professional medical care.
Pain or Discomfort: If I experience pain or discomfort during yoga sessions, I will modify the instructions to suit my individual needs. I will not hold Ashley Hunter/Far Out of the Box or the instructors responsible for any pain or discomfort I experience during or after the retreat.
I understand and accept the physical risks associated with yoga, and I am responsible for my own well-being during these activities. I acknowledge that the instructors are not licensed medical providers, and I must consult my doctor regarding any health concerns.
Photography Release:
I understand that there will be a photographer on-site capturing images during the retreat. I grant permission to the Organizer and the photographer to use my likeness in any photographs or promotional materials. I release them from any claims or demands related to the use of these images.
Medical Considerations:
I confirm that I am in good physical and mental health and capable of participating in the activities offered during the retreat. I have disclosed any medical conditions or concerns that might affect my ability to engage in these activities.
Emergency Medical Treatment Authorization:
In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize the retreat organizers to obtain necessary medical treatment on my behalf. I understand that I will be financially responsible for any medical treatment provided.
Travel and Logistics:
I acknowledge that the retreat involves travel to and from the retreat location and other designated activities. I am responsible for my travel arrangements and any associated costs. I agree to follow the provided travel guidelines and any specific instructions from the Organizer.
Insurance and Indemnification:
I understand that travel insurance is recommended to cover unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellations, travel delays, or medical emergencies. I acknowledge that the responsibility lies solely with me and that Ashley Hunter/Far Out of the Box is not responsible for any issues or losses related to my decision regarding travel insurance.
General Release and Waiver:
I hereby expressly and affirmatively state that I have carefully read and fully understand the terms of this Agreement, and I voluntarily and knowingly agree to its terms and conditions. I acknowledge that I am giving up substantial legal rights by signing this Agreement, and I do so freely and voluntarily without any inducement.
